Reporting to the Head of PMO within group programme management you will be responsible for managing a Portfolio Management Office which has been set up to manage governance, risk financials and reporting for key delivery portfolios across the Group. You will support the portfolio manager and Head of PMO to ensure a consistent and effective approach is achieved. The average portfolio contains up to 60 projects with an annual spend of up to £50m
Key responsibilities will revolve around Governance and Risk Management to ensure adherence to group standards whilst integrating new change framework procedures; Financial Management including regular reviews to track performance against plan; Communications and functional management and administration.
Experience within an investment bank or large financial services organisation of large scale change programmes with geographically dispersed teams is desirable, as is a background working across several different sectors with both business and technology related projects. You will need strong planning, organisational and coaching skills with excellent communication and the ability to influence and build relationships across a wide network of stakeholders including senior management who can influence and build relationships.
